TROPICAL CLASSROOM RENOVATION

Mr. Roy is an English teacher at Access Charter School, whose classroom will be renovated into a calming, tropical beach themed oasis for him and his students. Mr. Roy teaches special needs 10th-12th graders with Autism and needs a functional space to teach his students while also allowing them the room and tools they need to succeed and collaborate with each other. The main goal for this renovation is to provide flexible seating throughout and apply the evidence-based research to the classroom design. To resemble the beach, blues, greens and tans will be used on the furniture and décor. Indirect lighting will be used to provide maximum comfort and productivity.
